Teleseminars – A Sure Fire Long-term Marketing Strategy

It’s one thing to develop a hot teleseminar or teleseminar series; it’s something completely different to get the word out. In addition to the prep work for your event you need to make sure people know when your teleseminar is happening.

One of my favorite long-term marketing strategies is article marketing. Again, this is a long-term strategy.

The process is such that the articles build name recognition and credibility for you while driving readers to a landing page for a gift of some sort. The gift is an ethical bribe such as an eBook, eReport, more articles, MP3 or white paper.

The idea is to get the reader to opt into your subscriber list. Once on your list you are now able to do ongoing marketing.

Article marketing allows you to use the content for other aspects of promotions such as blog posts, tweets, Facebook posts and in forums that allow overt promotions.

By using your content in various ways you minimizes the time you spend writing, marketing and working. After all, isn’t this one of your goals; less work?

The way to achieve this is to be very proactive and strategic about your marketing. One way to do this is with proper keyword usage.

Keywords should be in the title, lead paragraph and throughout the article. Avoid “stuffing” the article with keywords. What this simply means is don’t overuse. For example some article directories allow up to 2% keyword placement of the content. Others allow much more. You’ll find out very quickly which have stricter guidelines than others.

One of the primary reasons for article marketing is gain trust and visibility. This is done with people becoming familiar with you and name recognition.

Although not everyone needs name recognition within their market, 99% of the clients I work with find name recognition essential to their success. If you are an author, coach, speaker, trainer, consultant, artist, singer or entrepreneur, you likely need the name recognition. The more familiar people are with you the easier marketing your teleseminars becomes. After all, who would most people rather learn from; someone who is a recognized authority or someone they have no clue about?

Article marketing gives you the edge. Add this to your teleseminars marketing mix for great long-term results.
